James Goi Jr. does not purport to be a great singer or musician. As he puts it: “I’m self-taught on the guitar. And I taught myself to sing. So, basically, I learned both from someone who didn’t know anything about either.” Still, be that as it may, James is a songwriter and lyricist and he sings and plays well enough to write his songs and to get their points across.
